Battle of the Puget Sound Bands returns JULY 2013! Applications are now being accepted! Does your band have what it takes? This time, it's all about the CASH! First place wins $10,000 with second place winning $5,000 and third place at $2,500. We're also giving our Facebook fans an opportunity to tell us who they want in the competition! Voting begins June 10, 2013 so remember to check back and place your votes EVERYDAY!

Muckleshoot Casino will be attending the Daffodil Parade in the 2013 Daffodil Festival in Puyallup, WA at 12:45pm.

About the Daffodil Festival: The Daffodil Festival will be celebrating it’s 80th year during the 2013 festival season with the Daffodil Parade being the highlight of Festival Week. The parade travels through the four cities of Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner and Orting and consists of over 150 entries, including floats, bands, marching, and mounted units. Floats are decorated with thousands of fresh-cut daffodils and the parade is a bridge that links one generation to another. For more information, please visit their website.

Winners Named for Battle of the Puget Sound Bands

The winners of Muckleshoot Casino's Battle of the Puget Sound Bands 2012 have been named! On August 31, 2012, Hip Hop, Rock & Reggae band, The Hooky's, took 1st place, winning them $5,000 in cash and a one year contract valued up to $24,000 to perform live at Muckleshoot Casino's Club Galaxy. Old school R&B Funk band, Show Nuff Funk, took 2nd place and $2,000 in cash with 3rd place winner, Palmer Junction, performing all styles of Blues, winning $1,000 cash. Over 600 fans showed up for the Friday night finale and crowd votes determined these winners.

Other participants of Battle of the Puget Sound Bands 2012 include Andy Stokes, C-Leb and the Kettle Black, Ultimate Sellout Band, Lions Ambition, Vibe Central and Joyfield.
